How to choose your combo
1. Do you need a new phone?
If your current phone is old, damaged or locked to another carrier, pick a combo with a Galaxy phone or iPhone. If you love your phone and it's compatible with the T-Mobile network, one of the three bring-your-own-phone combos gives you two other devices instead. See bring your own phone.
2. Apple or Android?
Matching ecosystems unlocks extra features. Samsung phones pass calls and texts to the Galaxy Tab A9, and iPhones share iMessage, FaceTime and AirDrop with iPads and MacBooks. Mixed combos still work well through Google and Microsoft apps.
3. Tablet or laptop?
Choose a tablet or iPad for reading, video, games and video calls. Choose a laptop if you'll type a lot, fill out long forms or need Windows or macOS software.

Combo deal FAQs
Can I get more than one combo?
No. Each combo includes a Lifeline service line, and Lifeline is limited to one benefit per household.
Why isn't there a phone and iPhone combo?
A household only has one service line through Lifeline, so two phones in one combo wouldn't be useful. Each combo pairs a primary device with a second, different kind of device.
Can I change my combo after I apply?

Are these government combos?
No. "Free government phone and tablet combo" is a common search term. Lifeline is the government part: a monthly service discount. The device combos are Combo Wireless offers for eligible customers.
