What you should know before choosing it
Software support: the iPhone 7's last major iOS version is iOS 15. It doesn't receive newer iOS versions, and over time some apps (banking, government portals, messaging apps) may require a newer iOS than it can run. If you rely on the latest apps, choose the iPhone 13, 14 or 15.
- No headphone jack. Use Lightning or Bluetooth headphones.
- Water resistance. The iPhone 7 was rated IP67 when new; resistance can decrease with age, so avoid water exposure.
- 4G LTE. The iPhone 7 isn't 5G capable.
