The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) oversees the Lifeline program in Florida and promotes it to eligible residents. Florida follows federal eligibility rules and uses the National Verifier to confirm eligibility.
Florida benefit amounts
The Florida PSC lists the same federal amounts that apply nationwide: $9.25 off broadband or bundled voice and broadband service, and $5.25 off voice-only service. Only one discount is allowed per household.
Maximum monthly discount applied to a qualifying service plan, not a cash payment.

Staying connected in hurricane season
Floridians know the value of a working phone when storms hit. A few habits help:
Turn on emergency alerts
Make sure Wireless Emergency Alerts are enabled in your phone's settings.
Charge everything early
Before a storm, fully charge your phone and your second combo device. A tablet or laptop can serve as a backup screen.
Save key documents
Photograph IDs, insurance and benefit letters and store them in cloud storage.
Know satellite SOS
The iPhone 14 and 15 support Emergency SOS via satellite where available when cell networks are down.
An iPhone & iPad combo or phone & tablet combo gives your household two screens for news and updates. If you're displaced by a disaster, contact us at support@combowireless.com to update your address.
