Not a government agency
Combo Wireless is a private company. We are not the FCC, USAC, the CPUC, or any federal, state or Tribal government agency. We are an approved provider of Lifeline service in California (including California LifeLine), New York, Texas and Florida.
Programs vs. offers
Lifeline and California LifeLine provide a discount on qualifying phone or internet service. They do not provide, pay for or reimburse phones, tablets, iPads or laptops. Devices described on this website are Combo Wireless offers, free to eligible customers who enroll in our service, and subject to eligibility, verification, availability and our Terms of Service. The Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) has ended and is not a source of any benefit described on this site.
Use of search terms
Phrases such as "free government phone," "free government tablet," "free government iPad," "free government laptop," "free tablet with EBT" and "free iPad with Medicaid" are used because they are common search terms. They do not mean that a government agency provides these devices.
Eligibility
Eligibility is determined through the official Lifeline verification process (the National Verifier or, in California, the California LifeLine Administrator). Our eligibility checker and content are for general guidance only. Submitting an application does not guarantee approval.
Devices
All devices are refurbished. Models, generations, storage, colors and specifications vary by availability. Device specifications are based on manufacturer information for each model line. Warranty coverage is the standard manufacturer or provider warranty where applicable.
Trademarks
Apple, iPhone, iPad, MacBook Pro, FaceTime, iMessage and AirDrop are trademarks of Apple Inc. Samsung, Galaxy, Galaxy Tab, Z Flip and Z Fold are trademarks of Samsung Electronics Co., Ltd. Dell and Latitude are trademarks of Dell Inc. Chromebook and ChromeOS are trademarks of Google LLC. T-Mobile is a trademark of Deutsche Telekom AG.
