Every Combo Wireless device is refurbished. That means the device was previously owned or returned, then restored to working condition before it ships to you. Refurbished devices let us offer premium models like the iPhone 15, Galaxy Z Fold and MacBook Pro free to eligible customers.

Tablets, iPads and laptops
Second devices come as part of a combo. Pick the Galaxy Tab A9 for a light Android tablet, an iPad 7th or 9th Gen for a larger Apple screen, or a Chromebook 11, Dell Latitude or MacBook Pro for typing and full desktop software.

Keeping your software up to date
Refurbished devices span several model years, and manufacturers support each model for a different length of time. We note this on each page so you can choose with open eyes:

Device FAQs
Are these devices free from the government?
No. The government's Lifeline program discounts service only. Devices are Combo Wireless offers, free for eligible customers who enroll.
Can I get just a phone without a combo?
Our offers are built around combos. If you only want service on your current phone, see bring your own phone, or ask about the free phone when you switch offer.
Can I choose the color or storage size?
You can tell us your preference, but colors and storage depend on availability. We confirm your device before shipping.
